Gabriel de Lima da Silva (born 17 April 2001) is a Brazil professional footballer who plays as a defender for Kerala United FC.[1]
Career[]
Independente de Limeira[]
Silva begun his youth career at Sao Paulo-based side Independente de Limeira before moving to the Youth team of Mauá Futebol Clube and play there for 1 year.
Esporte Clube Santo André[]
After leaving Mauá Futebol Clube Silva signed for Sao Paulo-based side Esporte Clube Santo André and developed as a good defender at young age. His time with Esporte Clube Santo André impressed many scouts from Europe.[citation needed]
Shakhtar Donetsk[]
In January 2019, Silva joined Ukrainian Premier League Champion side Shakhtar Donetsk for a one-year Contract an played many games for the Under-21 and reserve sides.[2]
Sport Club Atibaia[]
After the stint with Shakhtar Donetsk the defender had returned home to join Sao Paulo-based side Sport Club Atibaia for the 2020 season earlier this year and played 7 games.[citation needed]
Kerala United FC[]
After the stint with his home side Sport Club Atibaia the defender than signed for Second Division I-League outfit Kerala United FC on a season-long loan deal from Sport Club Atibaia. "This is an interesting challenge for me," Silva was quoted by Kerala United FC. "I feel confident and I'm sure I will be able to perform my best here and help the club. I thank the United World football group for this opportunity," said Gabriel.[3]
