Gashmeer Mahajani (born 08 June 1985)[1] is an Indian film, television actor, dance choreographer and play director. He is better known for his work in Marathi cinema.[2] He is the son of veteran Marathi film actor Ravindra Mahajani.[3][4]
Gashmeer debuted with P. Som Shekar's Hindi film Muskurake Dekh Zara (2010), although only in 2015 did he achieve popularity, when Carry On Maratha, which was his Marathi film debut and Deool Band were released.[5][6]

He is the son of Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani.[7] He married to Gauri Deshmukh on 28 December 2014.[8] The couple has a son named Vyom who born in 2019.[9]

He was ranked fifth in The Times of India's Top 20 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2017.[10] He was ranked ninth in The Times of India's Top 20 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2018.[11] He was ranked second in The Times of India's Top 30 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2019.[12] He was ranked seventh in The Times of India's Top 20 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2020.[13]
Career[]
Mahajani began his film career with the 2010 romance, Muskurake Dekh Zara. He then took a break from the industry and immersed himself in theatre, acting at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai for four years. He also directed Marathi plays.
He made his Marathi film debut in 2015 with Sanjay Londhe’s Carry On Maratha opposite Kashmira Kulkarni. His father Ravindra Mahajani made a guest appearance in the movie.[14] He then appeared in Deool Band opposite Girija Joshi.[15]
He was also seen playing the lead in a TV Series called Anjaan - Special Crimes Unit which streamed on Netflix. It's an Indian paranormal investigative crime horror television series first aired in 2018. It also aired on Discovery Jeet which makes it his television debut.
He is currently portraying the role of Aditya Kumar Tripathi in StarPlus's Imlie opposite Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mayuri Deshmukh.[16] He also had his digital debut in a web series called Shrikant Bashir where he portrays one of the two main characters. The shows are getting popular day by day, with Shrikant Bashir being a web series and Imlie being a TV Show.[17] He also has 4 to 5 films (Marathi and Hindi) whose shoots have to be started yet and he has 2-3 films ready to release with post production done.[18]
