Gateway Group is one of Sri Lanka's largest educational conglomerates. Established in 1986 by R. I. T. Alles, former State Secretary of Education and a prominent educationist in Sri Lanka, the Gateway Group's subsidiaries include international schools, graduate education and professional training throughout the country and abroad.[1]

Gateway colleges[]

The Gateway Colleges are a chain of privately owned coeducational international schools for students from 2 to 18 years. The schools have increased in popularity widely following their unblemished records in academic, sports, drama and community service.

Gateway offers students the opportunity to follow the Pearson Edexcel curriculum, and carries out teaching in English.

The schools recently gained fame with an increased number of student acceptances into prestigious universities such as Stanford, MIT, University of Cambridge, , Columbia University, Purdue, University of Pennsylvania, Imperial College London, UCL (London), New York University, Dartmouth and the University of Edinburgh
