The Geely Haoyue (Chinese: 吉利豪越) is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by the Chinese automaker Geely.[3] It is known as the Geely Okavango in overseas markets.[4] The Haoyue name means 'heroic',[5] while Okavango is named after the Okavango Delta in Botswana.[6]

Overview[]

The standard transmission of the Geely Haoyue is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with front-wheel-drive, and AWD available as an option. Power of the Haoyue comes from a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 181 HP (184 PS) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. A 247 hp 2.0-liter turbo engine co-developed with Volvo was available later. The Haoyue was codenamed the VX11 during development.[7]
