On 21 August 2010, Kačar debuted for his new team Hamburger SV, coming on as a substitute for Eljero Elia in the 79th minute of a 2–1 home turf win against Schalke.
On 19 July 2016, he signed a contract at Augsburg.[2]
In August 2018, he joined Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta.
