The Great Khural of the Republic of Tyva (Tuvan: Тыва Республиканың Дээди Хуралы (парламентизи), romanized: Tıva Respublikanıŋ Deedi Huralı, pronounced [tʰɯˈʋa resˈpʰuplikanɯŋ teːti xuˈralɯ pʰaɾˈlamẽtʰizi]; Russian: Верховный Хурал (парламент) Республики Тыва, tr. Verkhovnyy Khural (parlament) Respubliki Tyva) is the legislative (representative) authority of the Republic of Tyva. It replaced the former Supreme Council in 1994.[citation needed]
