Grevillea stenostachya is a shrub of the genus Grevillea native to an area in the Mid West region of Western Australia.[1]

The dense pungent shrub typically grows to a height of 1 to 1.5 metres (3.3 to 4.9 ft) and has non-glaucous branchlets. It has simple, dissected, subpinnatisect leaves with a blade that is 15 to 50 millimetres (0.59 to 1.97 in). It blooms in August or September and produces an axillary or terminal raceme regular inflorescence with green or white flowers and yellow styles. Later it forms simple hairy obovoid fruit that are 7 to 8 mm (0.3 to 0.3 in) long.[1]

The species was first formally described by the botanist Charles Austin Gardner in 1936 as a part of the work Contributiones Florae Australiae Occidentalis as published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Western Australia.[2]
