HMS Hussar

Ten ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Hussar, after the hussar.

  • Husaren (1810), a lugger lost by Peter Nicolay Skibsted to enemy action viz. HMS Edgar
  • Husaren (1812), a lugger.
  • Hussar (1923), a three-masted schooner with 800-horsepower diesel engine, built in Copenhagen but operated out of New York, United States by Edward F Hutton[7]
