Haigyi Island (also spelt Hainggyi Island) is a town on Hainggyi Kyun[1] island at the mouth of the Pathein River (formerly Bassein River)[2] in the Ayeyarwady Region of south-west Myanmar. It is the seat of the Ngapudaw Township in the Pathein District.
