Haji Idress Palh, (Sindhi: حاجي ادريس پلهہ), was born in 1926 at Miranpur, Sindh, a small village in Naushahro Feroze Taluka, then part of Nawab Shah District.

Life[]

Haji Idrees Palh studied in Taleem Balgan School, he became a social activist and was elected many times as a member of the union council.

Family[]

He was the father of 7 children. One of his sons died at a very young age. From his children one (daughter) lives in Miranpur, two in Padidan named Haji Ismail and Abdul Fattah, two residing in Hyderabad named Abdul Razaque and Abdul Hakeem and one in Karachi named Abdul Sattar (all are married).

Work[]

He was one of the generation of Sindhi socialist that came to the literary forefront immediately, he was social politician in the area.
