In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Hazelbrook had a population of 220 living in 84 of its 91 total private dwellings, a change of 14% from its 2016 population of 193. With a land area of 8.09 km2 (3.12 sq mi), it had a population density of 27.2/km2 (70.4/sq mi) in 2021.[3]
