The High School for Construction Trades Engineering and Architecture (HS for CTEA) is a New York City Department of Education Career and Technical Education (CTE) school. This school was established in 2006[1] by the New York State Department of Education. It was intended to support its students to the fields of architecture, engineering or construction trades. In the 2009–2010 school year this high school had its first graduating class. This school is separated into three different majors architecture, engineering and construction trades. Each of them having a four-year course of study. This school has internships to help the students explore their fields of choice. Currently this school has many resources from other companies to help and bring people into these fields also.

The High School for Construction Trades, Engineering and Architecture prepares students for college, technical school, and/or apprenticeships in the fields of the construction trades, engineering and architecture. Our educational program consists of three fully integrated learning communities, each focusing on one of our respective themes. The instructional program is supported by state of the art facilities that house specialized laboratories for computer aided design, mechanical drafting, model building, and construction technology. We are proudly partnered with a multitude of leading business organizations and non-profit agencies in each of these industries who guide the overall work of our school and support the individual experiences of students and teachers. Students have many wonderful opportunities for apprenticeships, internships and advanced-study.
