Profile[]

Hu Xia was born and raised in Nanning, Guangxi, China. At first, his parents intended to name him Hu Love Xia but later changed it to Hu Xia. Hu Love Xia is also the name of his debut album. At the age of 19, he left his hometown to go to Taiwan to participate in the One Million Star Contest for its sixth season. After winning the contest on May 14, 2010, Hu Xia signed a contract with Enlight Pictures. Following that, he signed a recording contract with Sony Music Taiwan label, and officially debuted as a singer.

Education[]

Hu Xia studied at Guangxi University's affiliated middle school until he was 12 years old. He paused his schooling for a year, then went to another school in his hometown. Due to his involvement in One Million Star and his current career as a singer, his studies have been put on hold.
