"I Apologize" is a song by American recording artist Anita Baker, released in 1994 as the second single from her fifth album, Rhythm of Love. It peaked at number 8 on the Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart and number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100. The record won her a Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

Critical reception[]

British magazine Music Week rated the song three out of five, adding, "Baker goes jungle? But her strong vocals retain the original feel of these tracks, creating a soulful jungle splice-up."[1]
