James Clayton Hill (born 10 January 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays for Fleetwood Town, as a central defender.

Early and personal life[]

His father is Matt Hill, also a footballer.[4][5]

Career[]

Hill made his senior debut for Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup on 28 August 2018.[2] Aged 16, in doing so he became the club's youngest ever first-team player.[4] He turned professional in February 2019.[5][6] He made his "impressive" league debut on 19 March 2019.[2][7]

At the end of the 2020–21 season, he offered a new contract Fleetwood Town.[8]
