Jill Sawyer aka Hotdog Sawyer is an American former competitive figure skater from Chagrin Falls, Ohio.[1] She is the 1978 World Junior champion[2] and the 1978 Prague Skate champion.

Sawyer trained in Tacoma, Washington, coached by Kathy Casey.[3] As a 14-year-old, Sawyer drew attention for her ability to land the triple lutz, then a rare jump in ladies' singles.[3] She became known as "Hotdog" Sawyer because of her abilities. She strained her ankle and she was sent by Casey to see Dr Tenley Albright who was well qualified as she was a physician and an ex-Olympic skating champion. Albright taped up the ankle and Sawyer was pleased that she could jump without pain.[1]

After observing her in February 1977, Carlo Fassi said, "She is ready for Senior Ladies right now."[3] In 1978, Sawyer won gold at the World Junior Championships and Prague Skate but ceased competing soon after.
