Joe Brown (born 14 January 1999) is an English rugby league footballer who plays as a wing or fullback for the Bradford Bulls in Betfred Championship.[3]

Background[]

Brown was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. He was brought up in the youth system at the Bulls, making him a product of the Bradford Bulls Academy, until he signed for Wigan Warriors academy in 2017.[4]

However he re-signed with his former club Bradford in May 2019 for the first team on an 18 month contract.[5]

2019 - 2019 Season

Brown made his debut in the 2019 RFL 1895 Cup Round 2 (Barrow Raiders). He then featured in Round 22 (York City Knights) before picking up an injury.

2020 - 2020 Season

Joe featured in the pre-season friendlies against Castleford Tigers, Leeds Rhinos, Dewsbury Rams and York City Knights. He scored against Castleford Tigers (2 tries).

Brown featured in Round 1 (London Broncos) to Round 5 (Sheffield Eagles). He also featured in the 2020 Challenge Cup from Round 4 (Underbank Rangers) to Round 5 (Wakefield Trinity).

At the end of the season Joe signed a 1 Year extension to stay at Bradford.[6]

2021 - 2021 Season

Joe featured in the pre-season friendly against Swinton Lions.

Joe featured in Round 1 (Sheffield Eagles) to Round 9 (Featherstone Rovers) then in Round 11 (Widnes Vikings) to Round 18 (Swinton Lions). He also featured in Round 20 (Toulouse Olympique) to Elimination Playoff (Batley Bulldogs). Brown also played in the 2021 Challenge Cup in Round 1 (Featherstone Rovers). He scored against Sheffield Eagles (1 try), Dewsbury Rams (2 tries), Whitehaven R.L.F.C. (1 try), York City Knights (2 tries), Batley Bulldogs (2 tries), Oldham R.L.F.C. (1 try) and Halifax Panthers (1 try).
