John Winston (24 October 1927 – 19 September 2019)[1][2] was an English actor. He was known for his appearances as "Lieutenant Kyle", the Transporter Chief and occasional bridge officer in the original Star Trek series and the motion picture Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.[3]
