Kamień (English: Stone) is a studio album by Polish singer Kayah, released in 1995.

Background[]

The album was Kayah's second studio album, however, the singer considers it her debut album, excluding the 1988 Kayah from her discography. Musically, Kamień blends pop and jazz, with elements of soul and world music. All lyrics were written by Kayah. Several songs from the album were premiered between 1993 and 1994 at various festivals and compilation albums. Kamień was a commercial and critical success. It went gold in Poland and earned a nomination to the Fryderyk award.
