Karate is the debut extended play by English singer-songwriter Anne-Marie. It was released on 10 July 2015 via Major Tom's and Asylum Records.^[4] The EP, as well as its singles, failed to make an impact on world record charts,^[5] although Anne-Marie would later achieve success with her debut album Speak Your Mind (2018) and its singles.

Composition[]

Karate is an R&B extended play that incorporates musical elements of pop, electronic music, electro-grime and soul.^[1]^[2]^[3]

Singles[]

"Karate", the EP's title track,^[6] was released as the lead single on 13 May 2015.^[7]

"Gemini" was released as the EP's second single on 24 June 2015.^[8]

Critical reception[]

Pierre Bayet of High Clouds called the EP "bright".^[9]
