Kate Woods is an Australian film and television director.

Her career spans almost 30 years, and includes a number of mini series, telemovies, pilots, series television and a multi award-winning feature films.[1]

She has worked on the series G.P., Phoenix, Police Rescue, Person of Interest (TV series), Changi, Escape from Jupiter Heartland to the American series Crossing Jordan, Without a Trace,[2] Bones, Castle, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-0, Private Practice, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Body of Proof, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Unsolved and Underground.[3] In 2020, she directed an episode on The Good Lord Bird.[4]

Woods made her feature film directorial debut with the film Looking for Alibrandi (2000). The film won numerous awards[5] and critical acclaim.[6]
