Kendrick Releford (born February 3, 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas) is a professional heavyweight boxer.[1] Nicknamed "The Apostle", Releford is the former IBF Atlantic Coast and WBO Latino heavyweight champion.[2]

Amateur career[]

Releford won the Texas Golden Gloves and many other titles during his amateur career.[3]

Professional career[]

On October 28, 2004, Kendrick upset title contender Elieser Castillo to win the WBO Latino heavyweight championship. This bout was the main event of an HBO boxing card.[4]

Releford lost to Mexican-American Chris Arreola on Goosen-Tutor's Blame It On Reno! fight card in Reno, Nevada. The bout was televised on ESPN as the main event.[5]
