Kevin Meendering is a former American crew chief with Hendrick Motorsports.[1] He had previously worked at JR Motorsports, serving as crew chief of the No. 1 Chevrolet driven by Elliott Sadler from 2016 to 2018.[2] He replaced Chad Knaus as Jimmie Johnson's crew chief in 2019.[3]

On July 29, 2019, following a string of disappointing finishes during the 2019 season, Hendrick Motorsports announced that race engineer Cliff Daniels would replace Meendering as the crew chief of the No. 48.[4][5][6]

Meendering's older brother, Jeff, is also a NASCAR crew chief. Jeff works for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series.
