Kodak Ektra (phone)

The Kodak Ektra is a smartphone inspired by the original 1941 Kodak Ektra camera. It was announced in 2016 by Kodak.[1] The phone was designed by the Bullitt Group and runs Android 6.0 “Marshmallow” on the Android platform.

Originally slated to go on sale in the UK and Europe for £449, the Ektra smartphone was released to the public in 2017 to mixed reviews.[2]

  • 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB of hard drive storage with microSD expansion slot
  • MediaTek Helio X20 processor (two high-performance 64-bit ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores, eight low power Cortex-A53 cores, and a Mali-T880 GPU)
  • Android 6.0 “Marshmallow”
  • 3,000 mAh battery
