Rodriguez Woods, known professionally by his stage name Kollision, is an American rapper based in Atlanta.[1] He is signed to Migos' label, Quality Control Music.[4]
Early life[]
Woods was born in Atlanta, Georgia.[1] He was a fatherless child.[5] Growing up, he expressed interest in boxing, which he derived his stage name from.[6]
Career[]
In November 2017, Kollision was signed to Migos' label Quality Control.[4] On 8 December, QC released its debut compilation album "Control the Streets, Vol. 1", which includes Woods' debut single "Space Cadet".[7][8]
Rodriguez released his debut mixtape "Better Than Yesterday" on 16 January 2018,[9][10] HotNewHipHop editors gave it 4 stars out of 5 (HOTTTTT). Second mixtape "Not for Nothing" was released on 22 November 2018, HNHH editors gave it the same rating, as for the previous album.[11]
On 5 March 2019, Woods released his debut EP "LL Kool K" (a parody on LL Cool J).[12]
In 2020, Kollision released two singles. The first, titled "Walkin", was released on 4 March, HNHH editors gave it 5 stars out of 5 (VERY HOTTTTT).[13][14] The second (and the last in 2020), titled "Handle Business", was released on 4 May, here's the just HOTTTTT rating.[15]
