Kumud Mishra is an Indian actor who works in Hindi-language films. One of his earliest roles was in the 1995 Doordarshan drama Swabhimaan where he played the role of Eknath, a trade union leader. Following an appearance as the younger version of Rishi Kapoor's character in the 2011 drama Patiala House, his career took an upswing after he starred as Khatana alongside Rishi's son Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar the same year.[1] His notable films include Filmistaan, Revolver Rani, Jolly LLB 2, Raanjhanaa, Badlapur, Bangistan, Airlift, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Aiyaary, Mulk, De De Pyaar De, Article 15, Bharat, Jawaani Jaaneman and Thappad.[2][3][4][5]
Mishra played a role in the 2017 film Rukh.[6] He also played the notable role of Coach Deval Sahay in the 2016 Sushant Singh Rajput starrer M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Mishra played the title role in the Sony LIV original film Ram Singh Charlie, released on 28 August 2020, which follows the life of a circus artist and his subsequent struggle after the circus is shut.[7]

He is an alumnus of Rashtriya Military School Belgaum, Karnataka. After that he graduated from National School Of Drama, Delhi[2]
Personal life[]
Kumud is married to actress Ayesha Raza.[8] They have a son, Kabir Mishra.[9]
