Lajan District

Lajan District (Persian: بخش لاجان) is a district (bakhsh) in Piranshahr County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,757, in 3,960 families.[1] The district has one city, Gerd Kashaneh, and two rural districts (dehestan), Lahijan-e Gharbi Rural District and Lahijan-e Sharqi Rural District.
