Leucauge argyrobapta, or Mabel's orchard orb weaver, is a species of long-jawed orb weaver in the spider family Tetragnathidae. It is found from the United States south to Brazil.[1][2]
The specific name is from Ancient Greek βάπτω (baptō, "to dip") and ἄργῠρος (argyros, "silver"), so called because the spider appears to have been "dipped" in silvery paint.[3][4]
