Lily Ki (born November 20, 1991), better known by her online alias LilyPichu, is an American internet personality, musician and voice actress as well as an animator. She is a member of OfflineTV, an online social entertainment group of content creators.
Early life[]
Ki was born on November 20, 1991 in California. She is of Korean descent and has a brother named Daniel.[2][3] Ki started learning piano at the age of five after her parents discovered her interest for music.[4][3]
Career[]
Ki first gained popularity in 2011 when her parody song "I'll Quit LoL" went viral on YouTube.[5] In July 2017, a video of Ki playing the melodica to unsuspecting cosplayers at Indy PopCon also went viral, becoming her most viewed YouTube video to date.[6] That same month, she joined OfflineTV.[7] Ki's internet content include gaming, art, and music.[8]
In September 2018, Riot Games launched a new series of ads on YouTube for League of Legends including one featuring Ki and former OfflineTV member Albert Chang titled "LilyPichu and Sleightlymusical: Duo."[9]
Ki was the 5th most watched female Twitch streamer in 2020.[10][11] In late 2020, Ki appeared in an advertisement for 5 Gum.[12]
On August 12, 2021, Ki starred in the music video for Sub Urban and Bella Poarch's song, "INFERNO".[13] She also participated in a stream promoting the video.
Personal life[]
In 2018, Ki started dating Albert Chang, better known as Sleightlymusical. They later broke up in 2019 after he cheated on her.[14] In March 2020, Ki confirmed on a livestream that she and Michael Reeves were in a relationship.[15][16]
