Notes[]

  1. ^ Year parish was established
  2. ^ Year the cathedral's present building was built
  3. ^ 1987 was the date was when the parish purchased the Mennonite Meeting Hall to use as its permanent church building, not when the building was erected.
  4. ^ Transept and choir of the cathedral was completed in 1880 to 1885. The Great Fire of 1892 caused significant damage to the cathedral, and the building was not restored until 1905.
  5. ^ Lighting struck the cathedral in 1911, destroying the spire, and damaging other parts of the building. Restorations took place during that year, and the building was rededicated in 1912.
  6. ^ Holy Trinity Cathedral is formally a parish church, not a cathdral; as it does not hold the cathedra of the diocese. Holy Trinity Cathedral served as the pro-cathedral of the Diocese of New Westminster from 1892 to 1929. In 1929, the seat of the diocese was moved to Christ Church Cathedral in Vancouver, although Holy Trinity retained the right to use Cathedral in its name.
  7. ^ Parish was originally established as St. Alban's on the Hills
  8. ^ The parish originated from the Kamloops Missionary District, established in 1884. In 1917, St. Paul's formally became a single congregation urban parish.
  9. ^ The building was originally built in 1888. In 1924, the building was moved to its present location, and expanded.
