List of League of Legends leagues and tournaments
League of Legends is an esports game widely played at both amateur and professional levels. This is a list of League of Legends competitions organized or sponsored by the game's publisher, Riot Games.

Tier 1 leagues[]
As of 2021, there are 12 professional leagues for League of Legends around the world. For the World Championship, the LEC, LPL, LCS and LCK are allocated three spots each, the PCS and VCS is allocated two spots, and the six emerging regions are allocated one spot each. One spot is awarded at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) to the region of the MSI champion, and one last spot is awarded to the highest ranked region that did not win that year's MSI.[1][2]
