The advent of these abilities has given rise to not only professional heroes, but also the threat of villains.

All For One and the League of Villains use the Nomus in their plans where some of them end up either killed or incarcerated.

Each of the Nomus come in different Tiers:

  • The Lower Tier Nomu serve as the foot soldiers, possess light-colored skins, and were the weakest of the group where they only possess one to two Quirks as well as super-strength.
  • The Middle Tier Nomu are more powerful than the Lower Tier Nomu and have vibrant skin colors.
  • The Upper Tier Nomu can content with top Pro Hero where they sport black bodies and are stronger than 10 people.
  • Dr. Ujiko also oversaw the development of High-End (ハイエンド, Hai Endo) Nomus, which are intelligent and more powerful versions of the standard Nomus. There are also some Near High-End Nomus that are incomplete and can't think for themselves.

Besides Kurogiri, below is the notable Nomu:

The unnamed former boss of the Shie Hassaikai and the grandfather of Eri. He took in and raised Kai Chisaki into the group. The current leader of the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza gang and the foster child of the unnamed former boss. As the leader of the Shie Hassaiki, he amassed followers by recruiting people who were abandoned by society.[79] His Quirk Overhaul (オーバーホール, Ōbāhōru) enables him to use his arms to manipulate matter, either to disassemble or absorb others. Overhaul's desire of restoring the Yakuza to its former glory lead him to develop the Quirk-Killing Bullets while setting up a monopoly in Quirk-enhancement drugs. But Overhaul is undone when the heroes learned of his scheme, also making an enemy out the League of Villains as they steal his life's work while crippling him.

Eight Bullets[]

Eight elite henchmen of the Shie Hassaikai were all unable to live in regular society and had no reason to live until they were helped by Kai, so they believe they finally have a purpose.

Shin Nemoto (音本 真, Nemoto Shin)
Voiced by: Takayuki Masuda (Japanese); John Burgmeier (English)
The first member of the Eight Bullets. Shin was very devoted to Kai and believes he is better than all the other bullets, as he was chosen by Kai Himself. Formerly a con artist, His Quirk Confession (真実吐き, Makoto Tsuki) allows him to force people to answer his questions truthfully, so he can tell if a person is unloyal to the organization.
Rikiya Katsukame (活瓶 力也, Katsukame Rikiya)
Voiced by: Hiroaki Okuda (Japanese); Chris Guerrero (English)
The second member of the Eight Bullets. While he commonly overwhelms his opponents with his enormous size and brute strength, Rikiya also uses his Quirk Vitality Stealing (活力 吸収, Katsuryoku Kyūshū) to absorb the stamina of his adversaries, simultaneously strengthening himself and weakening his opponents. Rikiya's overall capabilities make him a rather dangerous combatant who can singlehandedly contend with foes that outnumber him.
Toya Setsuno (窃野 トウヤ, Setsuno Tōya)
Voiced by: KENN (Japanese); Derek Whitener (English)
The third member of the Eight Bullets. Toya commonly tag-teams with his fellow Eight Bullets members, Soramitsu Tabe and Yu Hojo, and employs effective camaraderie when working alongside the two. Toya uses the impressive handling he has on his Quirk, Larceny (窃盗, Settō), to disarm whatever objects his opponents are holding. The objects that can be "stolen" include even manifestations of others' Quirks. Because of Larceny, Toya has a natural advantage against weapon users, such as armed policemen.
Yu Hojo (宝生 結, Hōjō Yū)
Voiced by: Kenichiro Matsuda (Japanese); Eric Lopez (English)
The fourth member of the Eight Bullets. Despite his gruff appearance, Yu is a very analytical person. When he threw a crystal-augmented punch at Tamaki, the latter countered the attack, and Yu meticulously deduced that Tamaki created octopus arms filled with thick muscles to absorb the shock of the impact, while simultaneously protecting himself from crystal damage using a thick layer of shells. Even as he continued barrage Tamaki, Yu took notice of the hero's impressive reflexes. He also possesses a great handle on his Quirk Crystallize (結晶, Kesshō) which he uses to manifest crystals on his body to amplify the strength of his melee attacks.
Soramitsu Tabe (多部 空満, Tabe Soramitsu)
Voiced by: Kengo Tsuji (Japanese); Jeramey Kraatz (English)
The fifth member of the Eight Bullets. Soramitsu appears to be insane. He is also always hungry and thus obsessed with eating. Soramitsu, just like other members of the Eight Bullets, is a hopeless person who lost his dignity and no longer sees any purpose in continuing to live and therefore is completely devoted to Shie Hassaikai. He is not afraid of giving away his life for the group. His Quirk Food (, Shoku) allows his teeth to easily chew through and consume any solid substance, no matter how durable. His stomach is able to quickly digest whatever abnormal substances he has eaten with no trouble.
Kendo Rappa (乱波 肩動, Rappa Kendō) / The Rapper (ザ ラッパー, Za Rappā)
Voiced by: Shouhei Kajikawa (Japanese); Eric Rolon (English)
The sixth member of the Eight Bullets. Kendo is a very hot-blooded man who thrives on violence and bloodshed. He has a warrior-like mentality and all he cares about is seeking out a battle that can satisfy him. Kendo believes it's unbecoming for a fighter to use weapons and that everyone should fight with the power of their bodies. Unlike most of the Eight Bullets, Kendo only serves Overhaul because he hopes to one day defeat him. Kendo's entire mindset revolves around provoking others into a fight to the death where he can stake his life on the line. If someone cannot satisfy that interest, Kendo wants nothing to do with them. If someone can give him the thrill he seeks, Kendo shows them great respect. He is highly skilled in close-quarters combat and employs that art in every battle. Hailing from the world of MMA, Kendo's hand-to-hand combat prowess was forged by his experiences in the ring, adapted and changed due to the hard knocks of cage fighting. Kendo's fighting style relies exclusively on powerful punches, which can be amplified in terms of speed by his Quirk, Strongarm (強肩, Kyōken), which allows him to rotate his shoulders at extreme speeds, allowing him to attack his targets with a near-endless barrage of bullet punches. His Quirk can only stay active for a few seconds at a time, but this is all the time Kendo needs to wear down his opponents. When dueling, the precise repetitive motions of Kendo’s brawling technique, combined with his reflexes and Quirk usage, doesn't leave any openings, even to experienced combatants.
Hekiji Tengai (天蓋 壁慈, Tengai Hekiji)
Voiced by: Jun Miyamoto (Japanese); Shawn Gann (English)
The seventh member of the Eight Bullets. Hekiji has a monk-like disposition, always showing calm and never losing his composure. However, he is capable of losing this mindset when found in a compromising position. Hekiji seems to be against excessive violence, even expressing pity on his enemies and considers enjoyment in fighting to be a low, selfish desire and as such prefers to finish his missions as fast as possible. While talking, he generally keeps his eyes closed and gives off a somewhat enlightened image, and he is often seen analyzing his situation and commenting on it. While he doesn't employ direct combat capabilities, he has a good handle on his Quirk, Barrier (バリア, Baria), which he primarily uses to produce strong barriers to protect himself and/or his comrades, even from a good distance away, making Hekiji an effective support—type combatant. Because of his defensive efficacy, Overhaul paired Hekiji with Kendo Rappa, an individual who excels in close-quarters combat. Deidoro Sakaki (酒木 泥泥, Sakaki Deidoro)
Voiced by: Kouji Takahashi (Japanese); Zeno Robinson (English)
The eighth member of the Eight bullets. Deidoro seems to be an alcoholic, as he keeps drinking even while talking or engaging his enemy, befitting his quirk, letting the alcohol run down his body. Due to his intoxication, Deidoro has slurred speech and often elongates words in his sentences. Even when intoxicated, Deidoro has shown to have great aim and precision when throwing his daggers. He also has some strange habits, like moving around by crawling through the ceiling while upside-down. Deidoro is rather energetic, but can also get angry easily. His Quirk Sloshed (泥酔, Deisui) allows him to subject nearby people to severe dizziness and inhibit their sense of balance, putting them in a state similar to being drunk. Since Deidoro is seen drinking shortly before using his Quirk, the strength of Sloshed may be dependent on how much alcohol Deidoro consumes. This may have contributed to his alcoholic nature, although, it's possible that it could be a completely independent variable.

Yoichi was the first user of One For All and younger brother of the powerful villain All For One. He was initially believed to be without any Meta Abilities, but in reality, he had Meta with no other power than that it could be transferred to another person. One For All was formed from the fusion of his given Meta and the power stockpiling ability his brother had forced upon him. Though small and sickly, he had a strong sense of justice and did not back down from opposing his brother's evil deeds. Yoichi attempted to defeat his older brother with his newly-merged Meta Ability, but didn't have a sufficient level of power to do so. He then passed One For All down to an unknown successor, in the hopes that someone in the future would eventually stop his evil older brother once and for all, a cycle that continued to the present day. Even long after his death, Yoichi is aware of Izuku being the ninth wielder of One For All, due to his consciousness being embedded into the Meta, and showed Izuku the events leading to the creation of his Meta.
