Kōki Uchiyama (内山 昂輝, Uchiyama Kōki, born August 16, 1990) is a Japanese actor and voice actor from Saitama Prefecture.[1] He is affiliated with Himawari Theatre Group. He played Roxas and Ventus in the video game series, Kingdom Hearts. Uchiyama played leading roles for each series, including Soul Eater Evans in Soul Eater, Banagher Links in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Zakuro Oshigiri in The Ones Within, Yoshino Takigawa in Blast of Tempest, Natsuno Yuuki in Shiki, Ichika Orimura in Infinite Stratos, Raku Ichijo in Nisekoi, Yuri Plisetsky in Yuri!!! On Ice and Yū Otosaka in Charlotte. He voiced Gin in the anime film Hotarubi no Mori e which has played at many film festivals worldwide. He is also known for voicing typically intimidating major villains like Tomura Shigaraki from My Hero Academia, Midnight from Fairy Tail, Meruem from Hunter x Hunter, and (in tokusatsu) Desast from Kamen Rider Saber. He won Best Male Rookie at 5th Seiyu Awards.[2] He also received one of Best Voice Actors at Tokyo Anime Award Festival in 2015.[3]
