A further 150 were delivered by the end of 1991, and the last units were received by the end of 1994.[136] In 2002 Turkey reached an agreement with Aselsan Corporation to upgrade the Leopard 1 tanks, prolonging their service life by another 20 years.[137] This modernization ended suddenly in 2009 as a result of the financial crisis of 2008 and only 170 out of the 397 units were modernized.[134]

M60TM modernization started after the lessons learned from the Operation Euphrates Shield. M60A3 tanks started to be equipped with new Aselsan systems since 2017. SARP[142] UKSS 12.7mm remote control weapon systems, YAMGOZ[143][144] 360° close range surveillance system,TLUS[145][146] Laser warning system, ADİS[147] tank driver vision system, ERA additional armor plates, AKKOR PULAT[148] 360° active protection system,additional internal protection coating,new fire suppression system,audible warning system, behind turret cage armor and 76mm smoke grenade launchers.
VOLKAN-M fire control system integrations were initiated by Aselsan in May 2021 for M60TM tanks. Aselsan had integrated Volkan fire control system into Leopard 1T tanks between 2003 and 2009. The same assembly will be done in the M60 tanks and is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.[149][150]

  • M48A5T2: Improved version of the M48A5T1 upgraded along similar lines to the M60A3 with thermal imaging, M60A3 fire control system and a laser rangefinder.

A modernization agreement was signed for the ACV-15s, which were developed in the late 1980s in line of needs of the Turkish Armed Forces. With the agreement signed on 31 December 2019, FNSS will also take part in the project as the subcontractor of Aselsan.[156]

Originally named Otokar Armored Personnel Carrier (APC), vehicle is based upon the Defender-110 chassis and is similar to the Shorland S 55. Still widely used by Afghanistan Turkish Task Force Command and in border areas with 12.7mm MG Turret. Some delivered to Gendarmerie General Command and General Directorate of Security (Turkey). It has a minimum range of 17 kilometers and 6400 NATO mils (360°) firing capability. BMC AKTAN  Turkey Fuel tanker truck x[271] AKTAN can carry 12,000 litres of fuel. The vehicle can both pump the fuel in its tank into the recipient air platform, and can also pump fuel out of a tank on another vehicle and pump it to a different point. The vehicle is capable of refuelling up to four aircraft, either simultaneously or separately.
The tank has been designed on an incline to fully transfer the fuel when necessary, and contains baffles to prevent sloshing while on the move. The tank body is made of aluminium alloy and is coated with a ballistic sealing material and fire-retardant paint. Designed in compliance with the railway loading gauge, the size of the vehicle permits its transportation aboard an A400M cargo aircraft.[272]

TAI T625 Gökbey Utility helicopter TBD Gökbey is a utility helicopter that has a full indigenous design. For the first time in the Turkish history, turkey was able to design and manufacture its own turboshaft engine which produces about 1400 horsepower and burns less fuel compared to its rivals.[387] (TS1400).[388]
Aselsan TMH modernisation Howitzer Modernisation/Mobilization Most of 155 mm towed guns TMH TRUCK MOUNTED HOWITZER; Land Forces Command, Aselsan and Arsenals General Directorate carry out modernisation and integration of 155 mm towed howitzers onto tactical wheeled vehicles of the Turkish Armed Forces. Addition to technical upgrades, ASELSAN provides ADOP-2000[389] integration.
Göksungur Supersonic Unmanned Combat Aircraft (UCAV) TBD The Göksungur UCAV is a supersonic UCAV that can fly at a speed of 1600 km/h. It was successfully tested on the Aksungur UCAV platform on 26th op April 2021[390]
