From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lubov Chernukhin (née Golubeva; born November 1972) is a Russian former banker who holds both Russian and British citizenship. She donated over £2 million to the Conservative Party between April 2012 and April 2020, making her the largest female political contributor in British history and intensifying the debate on Russian interference in British politics.[1][2]

Chernukhin was educated partly on the U.S. East Coast before moving to England in 2003.[1] She has also worked for the Dutch bank ABN Amro.[1][3] In 2007, she married Vladimir Chernukhin, former deputy minister of finance and former chairman of Russian state development corporation Vnesheconombank.[4][5][6]
