Luffenholtz, California

History[]

Luffenholtz was a former settlement in Humboldt County, California.[1] It is located on the railroad line 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Trinidad.[1]

From 1904 to 1909, a post office operated at Luffenholtz.[1]

The abandoned town site is currently part of Luffenholtz Beach County Park, with rocky coves and tide pools.[2]
