Biography[]
Lynn is of mixed American and Japanese parentage.[2] She became interested in acting while attending nursery school. She had learned that her mother used to be part of bands, which influenced her interest in entertainment. While in elementary school, Lynn watched two anime series, including Case Closed and InuYasha.[3] While in middle school, she became aware of the Japan Narration Acting Institute (日本ナレーション演技研究所) in Tokyo. She later attended the school, after asking permission with her parents. She started going to the institute in her first year of high school; as she lived in Niigata Prefecture at that time, she would take the Shinkansen to Tokyo every Sunday for her to attend her lessons.[3] During her high school years, she became a manager of the school's basketball club. In her third year, she performed at the school's cultural festival; the positive reception she received for her performance inspired her to continue her pursuit. After graduating from high school, she continued her studies at the training school, while starting her voice acting roles. She initially voiced roles in Japanese dubs of foreign media, while also voicing background characters in anime.[3] After passing an audition, her first main role is Maya Kyōdō in the anime series Sabagebu!.[4] She played the roles of Lisesharte Atismata in Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle,[5] Mashiro Munetani in High School Fleet[6] and Nozomi Kaminashi in Keijo.[7] Lynn played Fuuka Akitsuki in Fuuka;[8] she also performed insert songs for the series.[9] Lynn played Himari Takanashi in Interviews with Monster Girls,[10] Mizuki Fudō in Idol Incidents,[11] Mano Rinoda in Schoolgirl Strikers[12] and Ena Komiya in Just Because!.[13] In 2019, she played the roles of Song Minhua in Girly Air Force and Mafuyu Kirisu in We Never Learn.[14][15]
