SM41 is the Polish code-name for a Hungarian shunting diesel locomotive, exported to Poland from Hungary and in service by PKP.

History[]

The SM41 is later version of the SM40 locomotive. The only differences are:

  • Simplified electro-pneumatic steering
  • Railings along both sides
