Madison Guadalupe Hammond (born November 15, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for OL Reign of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

College career[]

Hammond was a four-year starter at Wake Forest University. During her senior year, she was second team All-ACC and was All-ACC academic all four years.[2] She was also a member of the National Honor Society, as well as honor societies in Spanish, science and history.[2]

Hammond made her NWSL debut on September 26, 2020.[3]

Personal life[]

Hammond is the first Native American player in the NWSL being Navajo and San Felipe Pueblo.[4] Being both Native American and African American she has been very active in social justice for both communities while at Wake Forest and as a professional.[2] Hammond plays the violin and was a member of the Wake Forest orchestra while in college.[2]
