Mark Andrew Higgins is a Boston-based photographer who works closely with people in different aspects of photographic practice. Born in 1969 in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, he spent his childhood in rural Maine before graduating from Maine Maritime Academy in 1992. During the 1990s he spent extensive time overseas in West Africa and returned home to New England in the summer of 2000.

Higgins operates from a studio in the Boston suburbs offering lifestyle photography, studio portraits, family portraits and wedding photography.[1] He has exhibited his work in venues such as Gallery 121 in Boston and the Center For Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado and Lyceum Theatre Gallery in San Diego. His photography has included work of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina,[2] the Navajo Nation, the Southwestern United States, and New England.

His work has been used by Art of Digital Show at the Lyceum Theatre Gallery in 2007[3] and Planes Trains Automobiles at the Center For Fine Art Photography in 2007[4] and Gallery 121 in Boston for a Featured Show.[5]
