Marshallia obovata, also known as spoonshape Barbara's buttons and Piedmont Barbara's buttons is a flowering plant species in the Aster family.[1] It is endemic to the Southern United States,[2] especially in the state of North Carolina.[1]

It has white blooms.[3] The stems grow to 2 feet tall.[1]
