Masamitsu Kobayashi (小林 成光, Kobayashi Masamitsu, born April 13, 1978) is a former Japanese football player.

Playing career[]

Kobayashi was born in Sano on April 13, 1978. After graduating from high school, he joined Japan Football League club Tokyo Gas (later FC Tokyo) in 1997. In first season, he played all matches and was selected Best Young Player award. The club was promoted to J2 League from 1999 and J1 League from 2000. Although he played many matches as left midfielder for a long time, he toppled in a motorcycle and broke his right leg in April 2002. After that, he could hardly play in the match. In 2006, he moved to J2 club Sagan Tosu. In 2007, he moved to his local club Tochigi SC in Japan Football League. He played many matches in 2 seasons and the club was promoted to J2 from 2009. However he retired end of 2008 season without playing J2.
