Mawlid Hayir or Hon. Mawlid Hayir Hassan (in Somali as Mudane Mawliid Haayir Xassan ), is the regional vice-president of one of the nine divisions (kililoch) of Ethiopia: The Somali regional state.[1] He is a member of the Somali regional parliament and a member of the ruling party Ethiopian Somali People Democratic Party (ESPDP).[2] He is also head of BOE and Co-Chair for the RNCB and hails from the Makayl-Dheere clan of the Gadabuursi.[3]
