Max Lucks (born 19 April 1997) is a German politician of Alliance 90/The Greens who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag in the 2021 German federal election since 2021.[1][2][3]
Political career[]
Early beginnings[]
Lucks joined the Green Party in 2013. From 2017 to 2019, he served as co-chair of the Green Youth, alongside Ricarda Lang.[4]
Member of the German Parliament, 2021–present[]
In parliament, Lucks serves on the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid.[5]
In addition to his committee assignments, Lucks has been a member of the German delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) since 2022. In the Assembly, he serves on the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy.[6]

Along with Volker Beck, Terry Reintke and Felix Banaszak, Lucks was temporarily detained when Beck wanted to speak publicly at in June 2016.[8][9]
