Melanophryniscus spectabilis is a species of toads in the family Bufonidae.

It is found in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, and intermittent rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
