Miangul Mahmud Aurangzeb (Urdu: ميانگل محمود اورنگزيب) is the son of Miangul Aurangzeb , Ex Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He is known for his skills in thyroid and cancer surgery.[1]

Aurangzeb is the paternal grandson of the former Wāli of Swat Miangul Jahan Zeb,[citation needed], and the maternal grandson of Mohammad Ayub Khan, a former President of Pakistan.[1] His father, Miangul Aurangzeb, was the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.[citation needed]

Aurangzeb completed his medical surgery training in the United Kingdom.[citation needed] He specializes in laparoscopic surgery and has performed over 6,000 such procedures.[1] He is also the president of the Pakistan chapter of the [citation needed] and a distinguished life member of the .[2]

In June 2020, Dr. Miangul Mahmud Aurangzeb was appointed to be the Dean of Khyber Medical College. [3]
