Michael Anthony Harty

Michael Anthony Harty, DD (b Toomevara 6 February 1922; d Ennis 2 October 1994) was Bishop of Killaloe 1967 - 1994.^[1]

Harty received his primary education locally,^[2] before proceeding to St. Flannan's College Ennis for his secondary education. After that he studied for the priesthood at St Patrick's College, Maynooth and ordained there in 1946.^{[citation needed]}
