Michael "Moose" Thomas (born 4 June 1981) is a Welsh drummer and songwriter, known for his role as a founding member and drummer of heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine.

Thomas said that he first played guitar for two years and then he started playing drums. He said his main influence is Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters and that if it were not for him, he would not be playing drums. Other influences include Scott Travis of Judas Priest, Vinnie Paul of Pantera and Dave Lombardo of Slayer.[1]

On 4 December 2017, Thomas officially announced that he had parted ways with Bullet for My Valentine,[2] followed by an announcement of a band with current/former members of Throw the Fight, Threat Signal and Still Remains.[3]

On 9 January 2019, his new project was officially titled Kill the Lights and the single "The Faceless" was released.
