Mince Spies is a Christmas EP released by British rock band Coldplay. It is their fifth release under the format and consists of two tracks recorded with production help from Ken Nelson. It was released to the pre-Parachutes era Coldplay fan club only, being limited to 1000 copies.[1] Because of the minimal availability, it is the band's most rare release after the Safety EP.
Their rendition of the holiday classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"[2] was also included on the 2002 compilation album Maybe This Christmas, which benefited the charitable activities of the Toys for Tots Foundation.[3] This remake is piano-driven and have a very mellow pace,[4] appearing on the physical 10th anniversary edition of the Christmas Lights 7" single.[5]
