Miss French Guiana (French: Miss Guyane) is a French beauty pageant which selects a representative for the Miss France national competition from the overseas region of French Guiana. The first Miss French Guiana was crowned in 1960, while the first Miss French Guiana to compete in Miss France was crowned in 1987. The regional competition has been held annually since 1998.

The current Miss French Guiana is Mélysa Stephenson, who was crowned Miss French Guiana 2021 on 17 July 2021. Alicia Aylies became the first representative from French Guiana to be crowned Miss France, after winning Miss France 2017.

Background[]

The first Miss French Guiana to be crowned was George Néron, who had won the title in 1960. However, she did not compete in Miss France, and no winner of Miss French Guiana would do so until 1987. The competition was later held on-and-off for several years, and did not became an annual reoccurring event until 1998. In 2016, Alicia Aylies became the first representative from French Guiana to be crowned Miss France, after winning Miss France 2017.
